I might try out Core at some point, but there's not much rush. *shrugs*

I go by a few names depending on each site, however I usually go by the name "Oscar The Chinchilla". Why?

'cause he's my mascot! (He has one small game to his name so far, so it's a start.)

I started with Bionicle MOCs, but now I've gotten quite the fill of MMD... by providing models. I'm not an expert by any means, but currently I have a pretty decent track record with robots of any shape and size.

Most of my current work is aimed at FNaF World (making both original and fan game versions of characters, enemeis, bosses, items, etc.), but I'm also gonna plug work into porting Bionicle Heores models (at least the ones no one else has ported)

Still working on making decent facials, as well as rigging more organic things.

I'm also attempting to make some games using MMD assets and such, though not much progress has been made on that front yet. (I am making some... but don't expect any news on FNaP:R anytime soon. Not that anyone cared though. >->)
Interests
Since the 300 Watchers milestone is getting steadily closer, and I'm doing requests pretty frequently right now, I have a better idea for what to do for occasion: Make a contest!

How to enter:
-Be watching me
-Leave a comment on this journal

As for the prizes, I got something in mind...

3 1st prize winners:
-1 model of your choice... and will be featured in the upcoming 300 Watchers video!
(model will not be restricted by genre, but MMD base models are not my specialty)
(I'll also be giving it to you after the video is finished)

3 2nd prize winners
-1 model of your choice
(same situation as above)

3 3rd prize winners
-1 model accessory of your choice

And to spice things up, there will also be one bonus winner! What will they win? I haven't decided yet, but it'll probably be good. :3

And for the deadline, I'm gonna set it at September 1st. (One week from today)

Good luck!

MMD- Down the Hall by OscartheChinchilla
MMD- Down the Hall
You best hope you can get a sound out, because he's almost upon you.

So this is the first of (probably) many lighting test that uses new tricks that I've learned. What probably would've looked a bit dull with just ObjLum now is enhanced by PostPointLight, as well as a little bit of dynamic camera posing. I've got a ways to go before my lighting skills become legendary, but it's a start.

Models- E_A and Mistberg

Effects used- ObjLum and PostPointLight (3 were used in this one)

I'll be making one more thing (with new lighting techniques, to see what I can pull off), then I'll be finishing work on BB.

...and get someone made that I intend to release in the next update. :3
MMD- A new light on things (literally) by OscartheChinchilla
MMD- A new light on things (literally)
Feel free to call me a fool for not figuring this stuff out sooner.

So for a long while it was just a search for alternative lighting scources (since MMD only has one singular light source at it's core). A lot of tutorials and effects later, and I figure out that I need to load in an ojbect that has no shape, but emits low lighting that is adjustable via sliders.

Pros: I now can utilize more than one point of light
Cons: The models I've tested it on can look a bit bad under certian conditions. You could chalk it up to the textures, or just how MMD shading works. *shrugs*

I stopped using PMD awhile ago, so I can't really help out on that end. Sorry.

A FNAF 1 FredBear model would be good! Just recolor Freddy yellow and recolor his hat and bow tie purple, then keep the suit head and remove the hands, redo his hands and feet in a springlock style too! You will then have to model the springlock suit hands and feet. The suit head can stay the same. The feet (both suit and endoskeleton) need to have five jointed movable toes. Using Golden Freddy's model won't apply because he is a different shade of yellow than Fredbear, even if you think of Golden Freddy being Fredbear!
